Born at Shahjahanpur of UP, a place known for patriots, Rajesh spent his childhood listening to the stories of bravery and patriotism of Pundit Ram Prasad Bismil and Ashfaqullah. His father was government employee working at local district office while elder brother was associated with journalism. Rajesh grew up in the fearless atmosphere at home and school and later this atmosphere helped him to transform himself into a courageous and undaunted journalist.
